Smoke or Fire just got out of the studio where they were recording the follow up to their debut record Above the City. The new album is called This Sinking Ship and it will be out early next year. The band is headed out on a 12 date tour which will route them to the Fest in Gainesville and then up to our CMJ showcase in Brooklyn on Nov. 1st. Along the way they will be filming a video in Minneapolis and playing a free in-store in Chicago on Oct. 22nd at Reckless Records. Go see them live and give...
Wrangler butts drive us nuts!!! Check out what you get (while supplies last) when you pre-order the new Me First and the Gimme Gimmes record Love Their Country from our webstore before it comes out on October 17th. We went ahead and put a delicious wild berry wine cooler in it for your viewing pleasure because this is actually what you would drink 3/4’s of and then hurl in your Chevy side-step. It’s wet AND it’s dry. I think you’d better tell all your cowboy friends you drank 14 Buds instead of what your Aunt drinks to “unwind” up at...
So I pretty much blew it in Mrs. Mills Spanish class so I don’t know what is entirely happening but here is another note from NOFX about some of their cancelled shows… Ya cambiamos los pasajes para regresar a casa sin saber todo lo que estaba involucrado. I guess the...

So far this tour has been awesome aside from a few missed flights and food poisoning. The good news is we will be playing the next few shows in Lima, Santiago de Chile, and Guayaquil. The bad news is the shows in Colombia and Venezuela are cancelled because the original organizers lied to us repeatedly (the promoters Cheo in Caracas and Sergio in Medellin are not to blame). In fact the club...
We posted the e-card for the new Me First and the Gimme Gimmes record in the media section. Also, go ahead and rubberneck this video that somebody made of the Gimmes version of Goodbye Earl laid over the original video by the Dixie Chicks. How exquisite is the NYPD Blue dude’s mustache? It’s a top caliber cookie-duster. Joey had this to say about the video, “That is the best thing I’ve seen in a while. It works perfectly with our version. I wish it really was our video.” So do we man.
